Restoring History with Vita Grow Organic Soil

In a remarkable convergence of history and horticulture, The Original Landscape Supply recently contributed to a dedicated effort at Arlington National Cemetery to restore a historic vegetable garden associated with General Robert E. Lee.

Working with preservationists and the cemetery's grounds team, The Original Landscape Supply provided its acclaimed Vita Grow Organic Soil to revitalize the planting beds. This initiative aimed to authentically represent a small, utilitarian garden that would have provided sustenance to the Lee family during their time at the estate, then known as Custis-Lee Mansion.

The project highlights the role of quality soil in historical preservation. The Vita Grow Organic Soil, known for its rich composition and ability to improve drainage and nutrient retention, was the perfect choice to ensure a thriving environment for heirloom vegetables, allowing the past to spring to life once again.
